10K (41.6% Gold): 10K gold is the most durable and the most affordable. However, it has more alloy than gold. Because of this, the metal is lighter in color.
14K (58.1% Gold): 14K gold is between 10K and 18K in durabilty. It is weaker than 10K and stronger than 18K. Its a good in between and has the best value. It is more richer in color than 10K.
18K (75% Gold): 18K gold is least durable and the most expensive. However it is more in rich in color and has more gold than 10K and 14K
For any sterling silver grillz, if you choose the color option, rose gold, yellow gold, or two tone, products with these color choices are gold plated. Depending on how often the piece is worn, the product can dull and fade. If the product does start to dull and fade, we do offer a re-plating, polishing, and cleaning service.
